Celebration of Shadow of Oz 2015 !

Over the last few years, I've been participating in a yearly celebration of Oz by Oma Linda, whose blogsite;

has been a part of my Blog Reading list for many years now. It turns out that Oma Linda and her family are nearly as unique (odd) as my family is... and that's saying a lot!

Anyways, this year is her 5th year of her blogsite celebrating all things Oz, and the theme this year is

As she puts it on her posting about the celebration;

"This year let us stand in the Shadow of Oz and tell the spooky ooky, oogley boogley truth of how Oz also has a not so shiney, can be scarey, tarnished or burnished effigy. In other words......scary, dark and dangerous Oz will be our theme this year."

 Well now, this should be a fun time. I always write a short story for this celebration as that's where my talents lie. Many others make things relating to Oz and I have several items in my home from these other blogsites that have offered these Oz items as giveaways.

I've been thinking about it and I do believe an ominously dark story is starting to rear its ugly head out of the shadows... so to speak.

I hope my usual fans of Oz will understand this brief foray into the murderous world of Oz. I've only written dark once before and it was a very difficult time. We'll see how this time goes.
